Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is one of my favorite days of the year. In honor of this day and my love of Techno here is one my favorite record’s by some Detroit legends.

First released in 2000 Octave One’s “Black Water” is an upbeat track with great strings. In 2002 Terrence Parker weaved in Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech for his truly amazing “Spirit of Detroit” mix. Enjoy and be excellent to each other.
